My wife has had
to deal with two bouts of breast cancer and we
have read and tried everything possible to keep
our sprits up and be well informed about her
cancer, but one item stands out as the best of
them all. That's Reeling & Healing!!! Where in the
world could you send your wife for a relaxing but
informative trip with out paying a dime. Plus, she
learned how to fly fish!
My wife left with
a lot of anxiety and came home with a better
understanding of herself and how she was going to
deal with her recovery from cancer. The
interaction between her camp mates and herself
was invaluable to her recovery, learning there
are women out there who are in a tougher situation
then her but if they stick together and encourage
each other they will prevail. The fly fishing was
relaxing but the camp fire talks is what she
enjoyed the most.
Breast cancer
survivors arrive at the Reeling and Healing
site as strangers, but leave after a few days as
sisters united in a common fight against a
dreadful enemy. Knowing at any given time and
place all they had to do is reach out and one of
their new sisters would be there for them. My
thanks to Reeling and Healing, what you did in a
few short days was amazing, my wife returned home
energized and ready to face any challenge that
came her way. Thanks!!!
